Bin Mirror

Bin Mirror (also known as Bin History) is a complete audit record that shows all changes made to bins in your warehouse. Each modification, movement, or update is recorded with complete details including who made the change, when, and what changed exactly.

Complete Audit

Maintain a complete record of all bin changes to meet audit and traceability requirements.

Change Tracking

Quickly find when and why a specific bin changed, who made the change, and what values it had before and after.

Problem Resolution

Use history to investigate inventory discrepancies and understand what events led to specific changes.

Activity Analysis

Analyze activity patterns in specific bins, locations, or accounts to optimize warehouse operations.

You can access Bin Mirror in several ways:

  1. From Catalog: On the Catalog page, click the History button

  1. Access Bin Mirror

Go to Catalog and click History, or access directly to the Bin Mirror page.

  2. Review the table

The table shows all historical changes sorted by date (most recent first). Each row represents a specific change in a bin.

  3. Use filters

In the second header row, there are search fields for each column. You can filter by:

    • Ship# (shipment number)
    • Location
    • BinTag (bin tag)
    • Bin (bin name)
    • Account
    • User
    • Sku (product SKU)
  4. Search for specific information

Type in any filter field and press Enter to search. Results will filter automatically.

  5. Clear filters

Click the “X” that appears in fields with text to clear that specific filter.

Bin Mirror includes advanced filters in each column:

Filter by Bin

Search for all changes related to a specific bin by typing the bin name in the corresponding filter.

Filter by SKU

Find all changes related to a specific SKU to track its complete history.

Filter by User

See all changes made by a specific user for activity analysis.

Filter by Account

Filter changes by specific account to see only activity related to that account.

Filter by Location

Find all changes in bins from a specific warehouse location.

Filter by Ship#

Track changes related to a specific shipment number.

You can export Bin Mirror data for external analysis:

  1. Select export format

At the top of the table, you’ll find buttons to export:

    • CSV: To open in Excel or other spreadsheet tools
    • Excel: Native Excel format
    • PDF: For reports and documentation
  2. Apply filters (optional)

If you want to export only a subset of data, apply necessary filters before exporting.

  3. Export data

Click the button for the desired format. The file will be generated with all visible data according to applied filters.

Events recorded in Bin Mirror may include:

  • Quantity changes: When quantity in a bin is adjusted
  • Movements: When product is moved between bins
  • Recounts: When a correction or recount is performed
  • Receiving: When product is received in a bin
  • Shipping: When product is shipped from a bin
  • Name changes: When a bin is renamed
  • Location changes: When a bin is relocated

Each event includes information about the origin (Source) and specific action (Action) performed.

From Bin Mirror you can access product history:

  1. Access SKU History

At the top of the Bin Mirror page, click the SKU History button.

  2. Review product history

You’ll see a similar view but focused on product changes (SKUs) instead of specific bins.

  3. Navigate between histories

You can switch between Bin History and SKU History depending on what you need to investigate.

Use specific filters

Combine multiple filters to find exactly what you’re looking for. For example, filter by bin and date to see recent changes in a specific bin.

Export for analysis

Export data to Excel or CSV to perform deeper analysis outside the system, especially for audit reports.

Review before and after

Pay attention to “Pre Qty” and “Post Qty” columns to understand the exact impact of each change.

Track by user

Use the user filter to verify activity of specific users or to investigate unauthorized changes.

Review the Source

The “Source” field tells you where the change originated from (web, Android, API, etc.), which is useful for understanding context.

Use Ship# to track

When investigating shipping-related problems, use the Ship# filter to see all changes related to that specific shipment.

Problem: Changes you just made don’t appear in Bin Mirror.

Solution:

  • Wait a few seconds and refresh the page. Changes may take a moment to appear
  • Verify you’re searching in the correct date range
  • Make sure filters aren’t hiding the results you’re looking for
  • Clear all filters and search again

Problem: Bin Mirror takes too long to load or show results.

Solution:

  • Use more specific filters to reduce the amount of data loaded
  • Reduce the number of records per page using the length selector
  • The table loads data from the server, so with many records it may take longer
  • Consider exporting data if you need to work with large volumes

Problem: You know a change was made but it doesn’t appear in Bin Mirror.

Solution:

  • Verify you’re using the correct filters (bin, SKU, account, etc.)
  • Review the date range - older changes may be further down
  • Try searching by user if you know who made the change
  • Verify the change was actually saved in the system
  • Contact technical support if the change should be there but doesn’t appear

Problem: Filters aren’t filtering results correctly.

Solution:

  • Make sure to press Enter after typing in the filter field
  • Verify you’re typing the exact value or the beginning of the value
  • Clear filters and try again
  • Reload the page if filters seem stuck
  • Verify there are no extra spaces in search values
