Verify quantities

Regularly review quantities (QtyGood, QtyHold, QtyHurt) to ensure inventory is accurate.

Keep dimensions updated

Make sure dimensions (Length, Width, Height) and Weight are correct for accurate shipping and Packaging calculations.

Review discontinued products

Filter by discontinued products (Discontinued = Y) periodically to keep your catalog updated.

Take advantage of ClientOpt1, ClientOpt2, ClientOpt3 fields for additional business-specific information.

Validate before editing

Filter by Distribution Center

When working with multiple Distribution Centers, use filters to see only relevant products.

Problem: The list doesn’t show all expected products.

Solution:

  • Verify you don’t have filters applied. Click Reset to clear all filters
  • Check that Distribution Center filter isn’t restricting results
  • Verify products aren’t marked as Discontinued if you’re filtering for active products
  • Confirm you have permissions to view products from all accounts

Problem: Export file doesn’t download or is empty.

Solution:

  • Verify there are products matching applied filters
  • Make sure your browser allows downloads
  • Try exporting without filters first to verify functionality works
  • Review server write permissions if problem persists

Problem: Edit button doesn’t appear or I can’t save changes.

Solution:

  • Verify you have edit permissions for Inventory Allpack
  • Make sure the product isn’t locked by another user
  • Check that all required fields are complete
  • Verify dimensions and weight are greater than 0
  • Confirm numeric values are valid (no special characters)

Problem: Shown quantities (QtyGood, QtyHold, etc.) don’t match expected.

Solution:

  • QtyShipped is calculated from orders with status 9. Verify orders are in correct status
  • Check there are no orders in process affecting QtyHold
  • Verify inventory corrections have been processed correctly
  • Consider running an inventory count if discrepancies are large

Problem: Search doesn’t return expected results.

Solution:

  • Verify you’re using the correct criterion (SKU vs UPC vs ProductID)
  • Make sure there are no extra spaces in the search term
  • Try partial search using LIKE operator (add % at beginning or end)
  • Check that additional filters (Account, Distribution Center) aren’t restricting too much
  • Try searching without filters first to verify the product exists

Problem: ClientOpt1, ClientOpt2, ClientOpt3 fields don’t show or are empty.

Solution:

  • These fields are optional and may be empty if not configured
  • Verify fields are enabled in your account configuration
  • Check that products have values in these fields in the database
  • Consider using the edit view to add values to these fields if necessary
