My Shelf

My Shelf is a premium service that provides you with a dedicated distribution center (Distribution Center ID: 8) for managing your products and orders. View products assigned to My Shelf, manage My Shelf orders, and track inventory specifically for your shelf location.

Dedicated Inventory Space

Manage products in your own dedicated shelf location. Keep track of inventory specifically assigned to My Shelf distribution center.

Separate Order Management

View and manage orders that contain products from My Shelf. Track orders separately from other distribution centers.

Product Organization

Organize products by assigning them to My Shelf distribution center. Keep shelf products separate from warehouse inventory.

Inventory Tracking

Track inventory levels, quantities, and product details for your shelf location. Monitor stock levels for My Shelf products.

  1. Check Service Activation

    My Shelf must be enabled in your account’s premium services. Contact ShipEdge support if you don’t see My Shelf in your menu.

  2. Navigate to My Shelf

    Click My Shelf in the main navigation menu or access myshelf_orderlist.php directly.

  3. View My Shelf Orders

    The My Shelf Orders page displays all orders containing products from your shelf inventory.

  4. Access My Shelf Products

    Click My Shelf link in the Inventory menu or access myshelf_productlist.php to view products assigned to My Shelf.

Distribution Center

  • My Shelf is a special distribution center with ID: 8
  • Products assigned to Distribution Center 8 belong to My Shelf
  • Provides a separate inventory location from your main warehouse

Premium Service

  • My Shelf is a premium service feature
  • Must be enabled in your account’s premium services
  • Requires activation by ShipEdge support
  • May have associated costs (CostMyShelf)

Product Assignment

  • Products can be assigned to My Shelf by setting DistributionCenter = 8
  • Products in My Shelf are separate from warehouse inventory
  • Orders containing My Shelf products are tracked separately

My Shelf Orders (myshelf_orderlist.php)

  • Lists all orders that contain products from My Shelf
  • Shows order details, customer information, shipping information
  • Filters orders by account ID
  • Supports search, sorting, and pagination
  • Export to CSV available

My Shelf Products (myshelf_productlist.php)

  • Lists all products assigned to My Shelf (DistributionCenter = 8)
  • Shows product details: SKU, UPC, Description, Cost, Weight, Quantities
  • Filters products by account ID
  • Supports inline editing and grid editing
  • Supports adding new products
  • Export to CSV available
  • Default sort: SKU ascending

Order List Display

  • Shows orders filtered by your account ID
  • Displays order information: Order Number, Reference, Tracking, Status, Date
  • Shows customer information: Name, Email, Phone, Address
  • Displays shipping information: Carrier, Method, Tracking Number

Order Details

  • Click on an order to view full details
  • See all order items from My Shelf
  • View customer billing and shipping addresses
  • Check order status and shipping information

Search and Filter

  • Use search box to find specific orders
  • Filter by order number, reference, customer name, or email
  • Advanced search options available
  • Reset filters to clear search criteria

Sorting

  • Click column headers to sort orders
  • Sort by date, order number, status, or other fields
  • Sort order persists during session

Export

  • Export order list to CSV
  • Includes all visible columns
  • Useful for reporting and analysis

Product List Display

  • Shows products with DistributionCenter = 8
  • Displays product information: SKU, UPC, Description, Cost, Weight
  • Shows inventory quantities: QtyGood, QtyHold, QtyHurt, QtyShipped
  • Displays product dimensions: Width, Height, Length, Volume
  • Shows dates: DateCreation, DateLastUpdate

Product Details

  • Click on a product to view full details
  • Edit product information inline or in detail view
  • View all product attributes and settings

Adding Products

  • Click Add button to add new products to My Shelf
  • Set DistributionCenter to 8 for new products
  • Fill in required product information
  • Save to add product to My Shelf

Editing Products

  • Click Edit link to edit product details
  • Use inline editing for quick changes
  • Use grid editing to edit multiple products at once
  • Update product information, quantities, or attributes

Search and Filter

  • Use search box to find specific products
  • Filter by SKU, UPC, Description, or other fields
  • Advanced search options available
  • Reset filters to clear search criteria

Sorting

  • Default sort: SKU ascending
  • Click column headers to sort by other fields
  • Sort by Description, Cost, Quantity, or other attributes

Export

  • Export product list to CSV
  • Includes all visible columns
  • Useful for inventory reporting

SKU

  • Stock Keeping Unit identifier
  • Unique product identifier
  • Required field

UPC

  • Universal Product Code
  • Barcode identifier
  • Optional field

Description

  • Product description or name
  • Full product details
  • Required field

DistributionCenter

  • Set to 8 for My Shelf products
  • Determines which distribution center owns the product
  • Required field

QtyGood

  • Quantity of good/available products
  • Available for shipping

QtyHold

  • Quantity on hold
  • Not available for shipping

QtyHurt

  • Quantity damaged or hurt
  • Not available for shipping

QtyShipped

  • Total quantity shipped
  • Historical shipping data

UnitsInStock

  • Total units in stock
  • Sum of available quantities

ReorderLevel

  • Minimum stock level for reordering
  • Triggers replenishment alerts

Cost

  • Product cost per unit
  • Used for profit calculations

Retail

  • Retail price per unit
  • Selling price to customers

Weight

  • Product weight
  • Used for shipping calculations

Width, Height, Length

  • Product dimensions
  • Used for shipping and storage calculations

Volume

  • Product volume
  • Calculated from dimensions

BinNumber

  • Bin location for product
  • Warehouse storage location

CategoryID

  • Product category
  • Organizes products by category

SupplierID

  • Supplier identifier
  • Links to supplier information

Discontinued

  • Product discontinued status
  • Marks products no longer available

Regular Inventory Checks

Review My Shelf products regularly to ensure accurate inventory levels. Update quantities as products are added or removed.

Order Monitoring

Monitor My Shelf orders to track fulfillment. Ensure orders with My Shelf products are processed correctly.

Product Organization

Use My Shelf for products that need separate tracking. Keep shelf products organized and up to date.

Export for Reporting

Export product and order lists regularly for reporting. Use CSV exports for inventory analysis and reconciliation.

  • ID: 8
  • Name: “MyShelf”
  • Special distribution center for shelf inventory

Product Assignment

  • Products assigned to DistributionCenter = 8 belong to My Shelf
  • Products can be moved between distribution centers
  • Assignment determines which orders include the product

Order Processing

  • Orders containing My Shelf products are tracked separately
  • Order numbers may include My Shelf identifier
  • Shipping and fulfillment handled for My Shelf products

Premium Service Requirement

  • My Shelf must be enabled in premium services
  • Check premiumservices.MyShelf field
  • Value must be ‘On’ to access My Shelf features

Problem: My Shelf doesn’t appear in menu

  • Solution:
    1. My Shelf is a premium service that must be enabled
    2. Contact ShipEdge support to activate My Shelf
    3. Verify premiumservices.MyShelf = 'On' for your account

Problem: My Shelf Products page is empty

  • Solution:
    1. Products must have DistributionCenter = 8 to appear
    2. Assign products to My Shelf distribution center
    3. Check product filters aren’t excluding all products
    4. Verify you have products assigned to My Shelf

Problem: My Shelf Orders page is empty

  • Solution:
    1. Orders must contain products from My Shelf (DistributionCenter = 8)
    2. Create orders with My Shelf products
    3. Check order filters aren’t excluding all orders
    4. Verify orders contain products assigned to My Shelf

Problem: Edit buttons don’t work or products can’t be edited

  • Solution:
    1. Check user permissions for myshelf_product
    2. Verify you have edit permissions for your user level
    3. Try inline editing or grid editing modes
    4. Contact support if permissions issue persists

Problem: CSV export doesn’t work or is incomplete

  • Solution:
    1. Check browser settings allow downloads
    2. Verify you have export permissions
    3. Try exporting smaller data sets
    4. Check CSV file format in spreadsheet application
