Payment History

Payment History provides a complete record of all payment transactions made to your ShipEdge account. View payment details, track payment status, monitor your account balance, and filter transactions to find specific payments quickly.

Complete Payment Record

View all payment transactions in one place. See payment methods, amounts, dates, reference numbers, and status for every transaction.

Track Payment Status

Monitor payment status in real-time. See which payments are completed, pending, or in transit, and when they were last updated.

Account Balance Monitoring

View your current account balance at the top of the page. Keep track of your account funds and payment history together.

Filter and Search

Find specific payments quickly using custom filters. Filter by payment method, amount, date, reference number, status, or search across all fields.

  1. Navigate to Account Overview

    Click My Account in the main navigation menu, then click Payment History from the Account Overview page.

  2. View Payment History Page

    The Payment History page loads showing:

    • Your current account balance at the top
    • Links to Payment Methods List and Error List
    • Custom filter options
    • Payment history table with all transactions
  3. Review Payment Transactions

    Browse the payment table showing payment details sorted by date (newest first).

At the top of the Payment History page, you’ll see:

  • Current Balance: Your account balance information
  • Balance Gateway: Additional balance details from payment gateway

This balance information is automatically updated when payments are processed.

The payment history table displays the following columns:

Payment_Nickname: The name you gave to this payment method (e.g., “My Credit Card”, “Business Checking”)

Payment_Type: The type of payment method used:

  • Credit Card
  • Checking Account
  • Savings Account
  • Wire Transfer
  • Other payment types

Payment_Acount#: The account number or last digits of the payment method (masked for security)

Amount: The payment amount in dollars

Date: The date and time when the payment was made

Ref#: The reference number or transaction ID for the payment

Status: The current status of the payment:

  • Completed: Payment successfully processed
  • Pending: Payment is being processed
  • In__Transit: Payment is in transit (wire transfers)
  • Failed: Payment failed or was declined
  • Cancelled: Payment was cancelled

Last_Update: The date and time when the payment status was last updated

Payment statuses are displayed with icons to make them easy to identify at a glance. The icons vary based on payment type and status.

  1. Open Custom Filter

    Scroll to the Custom Filter section above the payment table.

  2. Enter Filter Text

    Type the text you want to search for in the filter input field. You can search for:

    • Payment method nickname
    • Payment type
    • Account number
    • Amount
    • Date
    • Reference number
    • Status
    • Last update date
  3. Select Filter Field (Optional)

    Choose a specific field from the dropdown:

    • All Fields: Search across all columns (default)
    • Payment_Nickname: Search only payment method names
    • Payment_Type: Search only payment types
    • Payment_Acount#: Search only account numbers
    • Amount: Search only amounts
    • Date: Search only dates
    • Ref#: Search only reference numbers
    • Status: Search only status values
    • Last_Update: Search only last update dates
  4. Choose Whole Words Only (Optional)

    Check “Whole words only” if you want exact word matches instead of partial matches.

  5. Apply Filter

    Click Apply Filter to filter the payment history. The table updates to show only matching payments.

  6. Reset Filter

    Click Reset Filter to clear all filters and show all payments again.

You can sort payments by any column:

  1. Click Column Header

    Click any column header to sort by that column.

  2. Toggle Sort Order

    Click the same column header again to reverse the sort order (ascending/descending).

  3. Default Sort

    By default, payments are sorted by Date in descending order (newest first).

Sortable Columns:

  • Payment_Nickname
  • Payment_Type
  • Payment_Acount#
  • Amount
  • Date
  • Ref#
  • Status
  • Last_Update

Payment History displays 30 records per page by default.

Navigation:

  • Prev: Go to previous page
  • Next: Go to next page
  • Page Numbers: Click page numbers to jump to specific pages
  • Page Ranges: Click ranges like “1…10” to navigate quickly

Record Count: The page shows “Records shown X - Y of Z” to indicate which payments are currently displayed.

At the top of the Payment History page, you’ll find links to:

Payment Methods List: View and manage your saved payment methods

Error List: View payment errors and failed transactions

Check Balance Regularly

Review your account balance and payment history regularly to ensure payments are processing correctly and your balance is accurate.

Use Filters for Specific Payments

Use the custom filter to find specific payments quickly. Filter by reference number or date range to locate transactions easily.

Monitor Payment Status

Check payment status regularly, especially for pending or in-transit payments. Contact support if payments remain pending longer than expected.

Save Reference Numbers

Keep a record of payment reference numbers for your records. Use the Ref# column to track payments in your accounting system.

Review Failed Payments

Check the Error List link if you see failed payments. Review error details to understand why payments failed and take corrective action.

Sort by Date

Sort by Date to see the most recent payments first. This helps you track recent account activity and verify recent payments.

Payment History Not Loading

  • Ensure you’re logged into ShipEdge
  • Check your internet connection
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Contact support if the issue persists

Balance Not Updating

  • Balance updates automatically when payments are processed
  • Wait a few minutes for recent payments to appear
  • Refresh the page to see the latest balance
  • Contact support if balance seems incorrect

Cannot Find Specific Payment

  • Use the Custom Filter to search for the payment
  • Try filtering by reference number (Ref#)
  • Filter by date range if you know when the payment was made
  • Check different payment statuses if payment isn’t showing

Filter Not Working

  • Ensure you’ve entered text in the filter field
  • Try selecting “All Fields” if filtering by specific field doesn’t work
  • Click “Reset Filter” and try again
  • Check that you’re using the correct search terms

Payment Status Not Updating

  • Payment status updates automatically from the payment gateway
  • Wait a few minutes for status changes to appear
  • Refresh the page to see the latest status
  • Contact support if status remains incorrect after waiting

Missing Payment Transactions

  • Check that you’re viewing the correct date range
  • Use pagination to view older payments
  • Verify the payment was made to the correct account
  • Contact support if payments are missing

Cannot Access Payment History

  • Ensure you have permission to view payment history
  • Check that you’re logged in with the correct account
  • Try logging out and logging back in
  • Contact support if access issues persist
