Print Soon

Print labels shortly after generating them. This helps prevent errors and ensures orders ship on time.

Use Saved Filters

Create custom filters for your frequent searches. This saves time and reduces selection errors.

Review Before Voiding

Always double-check before voiding a label. Voids are irreversible and some have time limits.

Batch Printing

Group similar labels (same carrier, same destination) to print them in batches. This is more efficient and reduces errors.

Possible Causes:

  • The label is already in “Void” or “Voiding” status
  • The carrier’s time limit for voiding has passed
  • The label was already physically shipped

Solution:

  • Check the label status in the “Label Type” column
  • If urgent, contact the carrier directly
  • For already shipped orders, manage as a return

Problem: “Label marked as printed but didn’t print”

Section titled “Problem: “Label marked as printed but didn’t print””

Possible Causes:

  • Pop-up blocker enabled
  • Browser or printer error
  • Corrupted PDF file

Solution:

  1. Search for the label in Label Management
  2. Use the actions menu and select Print Label (Reprint)
  3. Verify that the pop-up blocker is disabled
  4. If the problem persists, regenerate the label from the order

Possible Causes:

  • The label was generated more than 90 days ago
  • Active filters are hiding the label
  • The label wasn’t generated correctly

Solution:

  1. Clear all filters with the Clear filter button
  2. Search by Ship#, Order# or Tracking# in Advanced Filters
  3. Adjust the date range if the label is older
  4. If it doesn’t appear, verify in the order if the label was generated

Problem: “Incorrect password when voiding”

Section titled “Problem: “Incorrect password when voiding””

Possible Causes:

  • Incorrect password
  • Expired session
  • Insufficient permissions

Solution:

  1. Verify you’re using your correct ShipEdge password
  2. Refresh the page and try again
  3. If the problem persists, contact support to verify permissions

How long are labels stored?

The default view shows labels from the last 90 days. Older labels may be available by adjusting the date range in advanced filters.

Can I void a label after several days?

It depends on the carrier. Most allow voids within the first 24-48 hours. After that time, you may need to contact the carrier directly.

What happens if I void a label by mistake?

Voiding is irreversible. You’ll need to generate a new label for the order. The order will automatically return to Processing status.

Can I print labels on different printers?

Yes, labels open as PDF files. You can select the printer from your browser’s print dialog.
