Verify Before Deleting

Always verify that bins are empty before using “Kill Bin”. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Review Quantities in Processing

Monitor the “Qty in processing” columns to understand what inventory is reserved in active orders.

Export for Analysis

Use export functions to analyze bin data in external tools like Excel or reporting systems.

Problem: “Table takes too long to load”

Section titled “Problem: “Table takes too long to load””

Possible Causes:

  • You have many bins in the system
  • The “Qty in processing” and “Total Quantity” columns are visible (require heavy calculations)
  • Very broad filters that load too much data

Solution:

  1. Hide the “Qty in processing” and “Total Quantity” columns from the column selector
  2. Use more specific filters (by account or location) to reduce the number of bins shown
  3. Wait for the table to finish loading before interacting
  4. Consider using the “Old Inventory Version” view if you need faster access

Possible Causes:

  • The bin has quantity 0 (only bins with quantity greater than 0 can be relocated)
  • The bin is blocked
  • You don’t have sufficient permissions

Solution:

  1. Verify that the bin has quantity greater than 0 in the “Qty in BIN” column
  2. If the bin is blocked, unblock it first
  3. Verify your user permissions with the administrator
  4. Try relocating individual bins instead of multiple at once

Problem: “I can’t delete (Kill) a bin”

Section titled “Problem: “I can’t delete (Kill) a bin””

Possible Causes:

  • The bin has quantity greater than 0
  • The bin has quantity in processing
  • The bin is blocked
  • You don’t have sufficient permissions

Solution:

  1. Verify that the bin is completely empty (Qty in BIN = 0 and Qty in processing = 0)
  2. If there’s quantity in processing, wait for orders to complete
  3. Unblock the bin if it’s blocked
  4. Verify your permissions with the administrator

Problem: “Filters don’t work correctly”

Section titled “Problem: “Filters don’t work correctly””

Possible Causes:

  • Filters are conflicting with each other
  • There are special characters in search values
  • The table is still loading

Solution:

  1. Reset all filters with “Reset filter”
  2. Apply filters one at a time to identify which one causes the problem
  3. Wait for the table to finish loading before applying filters
  4. Avoid using special characters in text filters
  5. Reload the page if the problem persists

How many bins can I see at once?

The table shows 10 bins per page by default, but you can change this using the records per page selector at the bottom of the table.

Are changes saved automatically?

Yes, actions like editing volume, relocating, or blocking bins are saved immediately when you confirm the action.

Can I undo a batch action?

No, batch actions cannot be undone. Always carefully verify selected bins before confirming actions like “Kill Bin” or “Block Bin”.

What happens if I relocate a bin with LPN?

When relocating a bin that has LPN (License Plate Number), the LPN will be automatically removed. The bin will maintain its quantity but will lose the LPN information.

Can I see the change history of a bin?

Yes, you can access bin history from other views like Bin History or Bin Mirror. Bin Overview shows the current status but not the complete history.

Do filters save between sessions?
